לקראת חג החנוכה שיתקם החודש מתכננת עיריית ירושלים את מופעי החג ופסטיבלים מאירים בעיר העתיקה והחדשה. העירייה תקיים עשרות אירועים מיוחדים ומגוונים למשפחות, לצעירים ולמבוגרים:

הופעות, פסטיבלים, הצגות, סדנאות, מופעי אש, אירועי הדלקת נרות, מסיבות חנוכה ועוד הפתעות.

האירועים יתקיימו בכל רחבי העיר, בכל השכונות ובמוסדות התרבות לרווחת תושבי העיר ולמבקרים הרבים הפוקדים את הבירה.

בין האירועים הרבים שתערוך העירייה:

ובמינהלים הקהילתיים ובשכונות בכל רחבי העיר יתקיימו עשרות רבות של אירועי הדלקת נרות, הופעות זמרים, סדנאות ואירועים רבים המותאמים לכל הגילאים

כמו כן ייערך המופע השנתי של חנוכליים בין כיכר צה"ל לשער יפו.
