האם ימי שישי ארוכים מתאימים לקפיצה קטנה לסדום וים המלח?

את הטיול לים המלח עשינו חמישה מטיילים, החלטנו לצאת ביום שישי קייצי כשפננו להר סדום.

עם הרכב יצאנו אל כביש 90 לכיוון מלונות ים המלח לאחר הפניה למלונות, עצרנו בעלייה להר סדום ליד "אשת לוט…" השארנו את הרכב על הכביש ועלינו בשביל הכחול כשמתחתינו נפרש נוף מדהים של ים המלח ובריכות האידוי.

לאחר מכן עלינו עם השביל האדום למצפה הכפתור שהוא הר לבן ויפה והמשכנו חזרה לשביל הכחול שירד למישור עמיעז, המכונה גם שביל הדגים, לאחר מעבר לשביל השחור וטיפוס נוסף על הר סדום ותצפית על הרי אדום, על ים המלח ועל מחנה הפועלים סדום (הנטוש) פגשנו קבוצה של כמה עשרות נשים בדואיות מרהט שטיילו להנאתן בשביל.

משם המשכנו בשביל והסולמות כשבמהלכם מצאנו מנוף ישן ששימש להעלאת דברים ממחנה העובדים ללמעלה ומיכל מים ענקי, ירדנו עד למטה, לכביש, משם חזרנו לרכב ברגל דרך הכביש.

ירדנו אל חוף הים הנפרד ששופץ לאחרונה לשחייה בת כשעה ומשם המשכנו לצפון ים המלח ועצרנו לעוד כחצי שעה מרעננת בעין פשח'ה, המקום היה מלא במטיילים, כשסיימנו שמנו פעמינו חזרה לעיר הבירה לקראת כניסת שבת כשאנו שזופים ועייפים
